With reference to your letter No. 36244/1919 of the 27th June, I have the 19. honour to enclose a copy of a letter

received from Lance Sergeant . Spillett, Hong Kong Police Force, in response to our offer of re-engagement for a further term of five years service, and to enquire what reply should be given him.

Mr. Spillett whose passage is being arranged by the War Office, informs us that he expects to sail about the 15th October.
